Three friends have just been discharged from the armed forces. It is Ivan (Sava Hashamov) who first understands the meaning of true love, family, and hard work. Sasho (Dobromir Manev) is only interested in material possessions and in chasing women. Mladen (Lyubomir Gulyashki) is very pragmatic and dilligent. He uses the director’s daughter’s love for him to get a much needed career boost.
The film traces the stories of these men, so dramatically different from each other, emphasizing that a true man stands up for his principles, pursues truth, respects work, and may accept any challenge for the sake of his high morals.
