Margaret, now 35, was once sexually assaulted and that brought about the end of a relationship. She decides to go back to her mother Cristina – a fragile woman in her 50s, yet still immature. Her mother constantly accuses Margaret for her failed career as a piano player. In yet another quarrel Margaret, deeply enraged, slaps her mother. The law intervenes, further creating more family drama. Awaiting trial, Margaret is served a restraining order of 200 meters distance from her mother. But this ban only makes her want to get closer to her family.
