Paris, 1981. It is election night, the winds of change are everywhere and the French are out in the streets, full of excitement. Elizabeth is trying to share everyone’s optimism. Her marriage has collapsed and she needs to support her family. She is upset that her father and children are concerned that she would never stop crying. What would happen if expressing emotions might help her fill in the empty page of her future? Or if she just wrote a letter to her favourite radio show host? Or invited a homeless girl to her house? What might happen if she did something that would change her life?
